My role at The Orchard Practice
I graduated from the University of Birmingham with a Batchelor in Medical Science before studying Law. I qualified as a solicitor in 2009 and then spent nine years working in Landlord and Tenant Dispute Resolution, before joining The Orchard Practice.
I spend my day working directly with our clients, helping to ensure they have the right protection policies in place. This involves making certain the application process goes smoothly, updating them on ongoing work, processing medical questionnaires or discussing other ways we may be able to help them. Â I also spend time speaking with various insurers.
I thoroughly enjoy the client interaction, it’s a key part of my role within the business, seeing how our work is making a difference to their lives is incredibly rewarding.
Outside of work
When not working I love spending time with my family and friends, spinning, shopping and reading recipe books.

Being a Protection Manager means I get to combine all the skills I have gained right from my degree through to now.

When my six year old son brings me a coffee in a takeaway cup.
