Our previous mortgage was running out so my wife & I met with Josh to discuss our options. As we had just had a baby & my wife was on maternity leave, this meant our options had been reduced.

Malcolm made one telephone call to Santander and asked them if my father could buy a fixed rate deal to reduce the mortgage. Santander offered such a deal which my father accepted and which resulted in him paying £200 less than he had been paying under the previous fixed rate.
It may appear that Malcolm did not have to do very much in this instance but the point is he knew what to do and how to do it and dealt with it quickly and effectively and did not charge for his service.

Malcolm came to see us about a mortgage.
During the second meeting he noticed that I was anxious about the sums involved and he asked why I was feeling uneasy. I explained that I had been seriously ill and I was upset that I had not been paid out by my three critical illness policies and if I had it would have made the mortgage less of a stretch for us.

Five years ago Malcolm found the best mortgage for our holiday home rental as well as for our personal mortgage. Our situation was not straightforward and we didnt think there was a lender willing to give us the mortgages we needed. Malcolm assessed our needs and situation. Last year we asked him to arrange a further loan . We are both self employed and our mortgages are interest only. A difficult order to work with.
